Lapsang Souchong
Smoother than a freshly shaved Jeremy Irons, this lapsang souchong is singularly subtle and profoundly delicious.
Tea and Scent for Mother's Day
We are doing something rather different this Mother's Day- teaming up wih the Illuminium Fragrance Lounge in Mayfair.
Leafy Pu'er and White Peony from Malawi
It's not often we launch a new tea. As you know, we don't try to offer every tea - just the best tea under the sun. I source each tea direct from the tea-garden and each one is selected for its unique flavour and quality. Today we are launching not just one, but two new teas that have just arrived from our favourite farm in all the world.
The Prune Tease
The tea-lady's lot is sometimes arduous- like pushing a heavily laden tea-trolley with a wobbly wheel over a shag-pile carpet.
But more often it is glorious -like the time I have spent with Fergus Henderson creating a rather wonderful afternoon-tea tipple.
Bespoke Tea
It's not often I get to make tea for Ray Winstone.
He didn't mention how hot it was.
Person Friday Needed
Person Friday needed at Rare Tea HQ (central London).
We are looking for a couple of new people to join us.
We are a small, independent company so the roles are very broad and varied. Rare Tea is growing rapidly and things change fast so we are looking for people who will enjoy a job that will grow and change with them.
Twitter Competition
If you follow our twitter @rareteacompany you'll know we post a picture of a tin of tea every day- with a caption. Sometimes, in fact, most times a rather silly caption.
Last year we started a competition every Monday where we posted a picture and asked you to guess the caption to win the tin.
To start 2012's competitions with a bit of a twist we're asking you to come up with the picture.
The Arts Club at Dover St.
We hope all of you had a great Christmas and a fantastic New Year.
We started the year very happily with a visit to The Arts Club on Dover Street to do some tea training. It's always a pleasure to spend time with our customers and quite a treat to visit The Arts Club.
